Question for Harvest Moon DS

It's going to sound really stupid when I ask the following questions,but.

1.How do you actually talk to your cows/sheep.

2.How do you unlock the fishing team?

Please reply as I'm really stuck on these two questions.

1. You talk to your animals by pressing the A button next to them. You should hear a "moo" and it will say "Daisy is feeling well today"- or whatever you named your cow.

Riviera: Cast your Fishing Rod in the watering pond on your
Farm.

Yacht: Cast your Fishing Rod in the Duck Pond. Ask Gotz to build you one.

Paige: Catch 50 Fish

Fry: Catch 500 Fish

Rod: Catch 1000 Fish

Gigi: Catch 5000 Fish

Pedro: Catch 10,000 Fish

Tricky: Catch 50,000 Fish

Fisher: Upgrade your Fishing Rod to Mystrile and use it.
Reese: Cast your Fishing Rod in the Hot Spring by the Goddess
Spring. Sammy: Find the Cursed Fishing Rod and have it Blessed

Wow...my cow is actually named Daisy lol and yeah like he said talk to them and you hear a "moo"
