Question for Harvest Moon DS

Ok in order to get a kitchen, somebody said you have to upgrade your house. But I can't figure out how to! Oh and how do I get a double bed?

Well to get the kitchen you do have to upgrade your house. To upgrade it talk to Gotz to woodcutter on your phone. Tell him to want a house upgrade. He will ask you do if you want to prepare the material or buy it with the upgrade. You should choose the 2nd option it saves more money and time and it all will cost a mere 43000g and sorry but I don't know how to get the double bed

Ok you have to go to gots the wood cutter on the phone and pick house extend.

The first part of your question was already answered, so I'll just answer about the bed-
You will buy things on the tv shopping channel! You know how you can check the weather on channel 1? Well, you can check the shopping channel on channel 2!!
Every few days, something new will be offered that you can buy. The bed is one of those things. You will also be able to get your kitchen stuff that way.
