Question for Harvest Moon DS

What is a heart event? I've never had one and almost all the sites mention them. I am sooo confused!! >:( Thanx!!

Hello!
A heart event is kind of a "cut scene" where you'll walk in a building at the right time or go down the right path on the right day, and one of the girls in town will start talking to you- asking you to do something or go on a date. You'll give one of the girls (or all of them) gifts on a daily basis, and thier Afection Points (AP) will rise. If you are not familiar with Heart Events, it may help to say that only the black heart event does not need any AP points. Every heart event that you experience, will increase the girl's AP by 3000 points if you answer correctly to her questions.
