How do I get golden lumber and how do I get those cards?

You can get your first piece of golden lumber on Winter 2nd IF you are able to complete Thomas' quest. He'll ask you for an item in the morning, and if you deliver it to him at 5:00 at your shipping bin, he'll give you the lumber. IF you don't have what he asks for in the morning... Reload the game and he'll ask for something different. Keep doing this until he asks for something you have or for something you can easily get. Make sure you save the night before though!

You buy the cards at the Sprite company tree. The guy on the left pimps out sprites, and the guy on the right (Jet???) sells stuff. He'll sell you cards if you want to spend the money. It's not necesary though.

You can buy recipe books in the casino at the desk. They are basic recipies, so you can expand on them at home on your own!!
