Question for Harvest Moon DS

I want to marry Muffy but when ever I try the 2nd heart event she's never at the beach!!!
(It's sappose to be a rainy day,not Wednessday,at the beach)
And yes I HAVE done the 1st heart event.

Please help and thanks!!

Muffy's birthday is Summer the 5th.

Apple pie is her favorite, but she also likes chocolate, jewelry, wine and pink diamonds.

The second heart event will be at the beach from 9-11 on a rainy day (not wed). Make sure you have your heart at purple (greyish) so you can see the event. Stay out of the beach area, and right after 9, head down into the beach and the event should trigger. Don't be waiting on the beach for it to happen.
