Question for Harvest Moon DS

Hi, when I try to go to galen's house on a saturday, he is never home, so I can't get my fishing rod. Is there another way to get a fishing rod...or can someone tell me why he is not there?? And also...can you tell me where a few of the fishing sprites are?? Thanks a bunch.

Not much questions lately....

The only reason I could think of is that it's raining but Galen stays out for a while, then he goes indoors. The majority of the fishing sprites must be unlocked by catching a lot of fish. The easiest fishing sprites are Blue(leader),unlocked by fishing in the first hot springs, and the next is unlocked by fishing in the second hot springs.

Go to Galen's house on a saturdat afternoon around 0:00Pm (12:00PM)

Make sure you are going to the right house.

Fishing sprites~
One is in the Construction Site Hot Spring
Another one is in the Harvest goddes lake Hot spring
One is in the duck pond
Another one s in the watering hole
The others are for catching many fish (on goes up to 50,000!)

Everyone below is correct.... If you're at the right house, the old couple will be outside of the house around 11:00 am.... And then at least Galen will go inside around noon. THEN you go into the house and he will give you the fishing rod. I've also heard that you can only get it in the spring time.

Well, what tigger4will told me is that you have to have nothing equiped, and have talked to them. Arrive at 10:00am, and stay untill 2:00pm
