No, I don't think so. The restroom and bath are just there for you to have that "completionist" feeling.
You get kids and the kids in the village grow up, but then time stops... You won't die.
The bath and bathroom don't serve any real purpose... Just something to spend money on. You will see that time will elapse while you are in there though!
No, you can get old and die. The bathroom and toilet waste time indoors. Example, if there is a snowstorm outside, you can't go outside. It helps a lot if you have the basement because you can fish in the watering hole. But look, the time is 6 am! The fish don't start biting until 8:30! And time doesn't change indoors! Well, you use the bathroom and toilet to waste time. Keep using it until 8:30 or 8:40. Then go fishing as much as you want. Hope I helped!

Actually, yes the batroom and bath do something, they waste time the bath wastes 30 minutes and the bathroom 10, I used it many times during storms so I could call people up at make some food and no, nina is bascially the only one who dies in the game, she dies after your baby is born cause you skip 3 years!!!
You can't die or get old!!! It would be... HORRIFIC if that happened. But you can kill yourself... Hehe... Joudan...
Anyway... The bathroom won't do anything for you but I still llike to think it can replenish your stamina/fatigue.
