Loving the Mermaide

Thank you guys for your previous help. I hope you can help me with my next question. I found the mermaide in Daryl's basement. How do I make her heart grow and get her to marry me? I give her fish every single day and I bring her presents, but her heart remains gray. What should I do? I don't yet have the equipment in my house to cook her up a meal, and for some reason I've been unable to catch big fish. I've only been reeling in small ones. Got any suggestions? I really appreciate it.

These are all the things she really likes if you're having trouble with large fish.
Red MagicGrass, Medium Fish, Diamonds, Jewelry, Wild Grape, Bamboo Shoots, Mushrooms, Fruits, Vegetables and Eggs

You won't catch large fish until your fishing rod is at a higher level.

You are probably only getting small fish because you didn't upgrade your fishing rod to Gold or Mystrille!

1) Dont litter it causes affection to go down.

2) Upgrade your fishing rod to get bigger fish.

3) Give her stuff such as the braclet, necklace, purfume, ect.
