I'm trying to get into a mine, but every day when I go to the dig site nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do you make butter?

Hey... I actually added to the other question about the butter! I'll post it here too:
Put milk into your blender. You'll get butter.
You have to go to the TENT (where Flora and Carter live) after digging hours (10:00 pm or so) and then go to the dig site and Carter will follow you in. You'll break down the wall with your hammer!
