50% done, but I'm stuck

I've got a similar issue as question id 107629 from Jan 2008. I'm 50% done, but I have no arrow, Ron & Hermione are no where. I just wander around the place and I've gone back through all the places I'm able to access with no luck or directions as to where I'm suppose to be.

Have you been to the Ministry of Magic and fought with Voldemort? Because if you have then you've finished the main game. All you have to do now is go around the castle and cast spells on items to collect all the Chocolate Frogs and Gobstones and stuff, and complete all the minigames. Then you've completely finished the whole game. Although there will be no confirmation in the game that you have finished.
