I'm making poliduce potion but I keep on running out of time please give me some advice or tell me hoe to get more time

Theres a thing that pops up its like a thermometer and theres a brown thing that looks like an arrow on it. If you're pouring, stirring, swirling or shaking a potion then it fills up the thermometer. When the liquid in the thermometer gets to the arrow, stop. Then it will give you more time.
