Do not get rid of it just because there isn't really much use for it in Soulsilver/Heartgold because if you buy Pokemon Black/White you can use it.
After beating the elite four in black/white, you can obtain a Darmanitin outside of the relic castle on route four. It is in it's "daruma" form, and you need the candy bar to "wake it up" and battle it.
