Commander

The commander is the most important unit in the game and needs to be maxed out with upgrades and gear so it levels up. Completing Missions and tasks will earn your commander XP points, the Skill points your commander gains when it levels up can be used to increase resource production, improve the economy of your base and also upgrade your Troops combat ability. The commander will also allow you to manufacture or produce weapons and gear from the armoury. If your commander is captured and executed you can resurrect him with a Medical Kit from the store for 6,000 gold or Alliance Store for 500,000 funds but this must be done before the 7-day resurrecion timer expires.
