In-App Purchase
If you have joined an alliance and someone in it buys an in-app purchase everyone in that alliance will gain a reward.
Alliance
Consider joining an alliance as doing so will give you a gold bonus and unlock new missions and objectives that will have more of a focus on raiding enemy outposts.
Buildings
You are not restricted on how many buildings you can place so make sure you place as many resource gathering buildings as you can afford. Try to keep it balanced by having the same number of each building so nothing gets left behind.
Skill Points
Do not forget that whenever you complete missions and unlock Skill points for your commander you assign those points to them so that they can use those skills in battle.
Collect Rewards
Makes sure whenever you complete a daily or general mission you don't forget to go back to these sections to collect your reward.
Daily, Alliance, and VIP Missions
Don't neglect your Daily, Alliance, and VIP missions, these often take hardly any time to complete and will reward you with resources and Commander XP.
Reccommended Missions
The quickest way to progress is to listen to the reccommended missions the game offers you and prioritise those tasks.

| Global gift gold not increasing my gold amount |
OMG, this was driving me CRAZY! No gold increases from my mine, crates, or anywhere else... But I finally found it (hundreds of thousands' worth!) along with tons of other goodies, under the "Items" tab at the bottom. The trick is you then have to switch from "Store" to "My Items" near the TOP of the screen - then go through all the tabs, and you'll find all kinds of stuff you probably never knew you had (especially if you've purchased a bonus pack). |

As well as requiring the standard materials, some of the manufacturing research requires new items called “Research Files”. |
| Why reset commander skill set? |
Resetting your commander skills changes your commander boosts. If farming set skills to boost farming. If attacking or defending set skills more towards attack so you get conmander boosts that help your troops. Farming skills help gather faster. Attacking skills help with troop health etc. |

You will be rewarded with Commander XP when you complete Daily, Alliance, and VIP missions. These missions do not take long to complete and will also earn you resources. |
