Gameplay

Although gameplay is straightforward there are lots of things you will need to take into consideration to get commuters to their destinations. Things like tunnels, extra trains to lighten the load of a busy line, and what to spend your monthly bonus on, whether for example it be upgrading a station so that it is able to accomodate more commuters or adding another train line. The game ends when players allow overcrowding to occur at a station.

Mini Metro also includes features such as Extreme mode where track placements are permanent which means you must proceed with more caution, Night mode, which inverts black and white for darker play areas, Colorblind mode, a daily challenge with leaderboards, and a video of a game you just played so you can analyse your mistakes.
