Might & Magic: Chess Royale Walkthrough and Guide

Might & Magic: Chess Royale is an auto chess/battle royale hybrid available on mobile devices and PC. In this autobattle royale you are dropped into an arena with 99 other players and are randomly assigned an opponent to duel. You then both have about thirty seconds to recruit minions and place them on the battlefield. When time is up, the minions go head to head and fight until one army is eradicated. Once you have placed your fighters how you want you have no control over the fights which ensue, all you can then do is see how it plays out. As the matches progress and more players get weeded out, the survivors will grow in power. Check out our Might & Magic: Chess Royale Walkthrough and Guide to get help in the game.

Gold Coins

To purchase units and XP from the store requires gold coins. Units you can buy to build your army includes tanks, healers, damage-dealers, and melee-fighters. Using gold coins to buy XP will help you to level up which will enable you to deploy more units on the field. You start the game with 4 gold coins and you will earn more by progressing through the rounds and getting victories.

Your First Two Units

It is very important that you choose your first two units wisely in Might & Magic: Chess Royale as these will be the foundation in which your entire play will be built on. It is advised that you pick two units that will give you an instant advantage and be easy to star up in the long run. Units we recommend that fall into this category which you may want to consider are the Troglodite, Valkyrie, Justicar, and Dryad.

Buy and Sell Units

In Might & Magic: Chess Royale you can sell the units you buy for the exact amount of gold you purchased them for. Take advantage of this in the first turn by spending all your gold to purchase more units than you need (3-4 units) then in the second turn decide what to keep and what to sell to recoup your gold.

Place Units Wisely

A tried and tested formation when placing your units on the field is to put the tanks/melee-fighters in front and keep the ranged-attackers/healers in the backline.

Buying XP with Gold

In Might & Magic: Chess Royale you can buy XP points with gold and although you shouldn't make a habit of doing this as your gold is more useful spent elsewhere it is something you should consider doing in the 2nd round in order to quickly get an extra level.

Pay Attention to Synergies

When adding units it is extremely important that you pay attention to synergies as these can give you useful bonuses. Some synergies are better than others and obtaining them will require getting a certain number of units of the same type. Early on you will find it easier obtaining the synergies that only require 1 or 2 units.

Evolve On-Field Units

It is essential in order to remain competitive in the later stages of Might & Magic: Chess Royale you star up your units on the field. Evolving your on-field units by starring up will give them major boosts. In order to star up to two stars one unit, you need three units of the same type. The same rule goes for getting a 3-star unit which you will find is not realistic in most battles.

Purchasing Spells

Spells become available to purchase early in the game so make sure you keep an eye on which ones are available and decide whether they are worth investing in. Spells will give passive effects, the Rare and Legendary ones will unlock if you remain alive for long enough in the game.

Learn from Battles

Watch how battles unfold with your opponents as doing so will give you an understanding as to what works and what doesn't. You can then replicate the winning strategies yourself in future battles.
