Introduction

My review on the game "Metroid Prime Hunters"

The game is good for metroid fans and for gamers who haven't played the Metroid series before. The game offeres great shooting action and puzzel solving with other Bounty Hunteres trying to stop you.

Graphics

The in game graphics are good but the movie sequences have excelent graphics, you can see lots of details. The in game graphics lac a bit when it comes to characters. When you are fighting another hunter in biped the helmet view has good graphics when you look at your weapons but when you can see one of your oponents the graphics arnt that good because it's a bit flat. The alt form graphis are vey good focusing on every detail like the spikes on Spire and each segment of Kandens Stinglava. The graphics are good but lacking in some areas.

Sound

The sound is good with each hunter having their own sounds when they get shot or when the transform into their alt form. The music is good, it changes when certain things happen like when you face a rival hunter. The music makes you tense when you are trying to concentrate which sometimes makes it hard sometimes. The music gets faster as you reach the end of a multiplayer match which put you off making it a challenge.

Gameplay

The gameplay is excelent, the game puts you in cituations that take brains as well as braun. After defeating each boss you have to get out of the level bck to your ship before you are destroyed by the planet defence cystem but there are a lot of nasty creatures and machinerey that try to stop you from escaping.

The multiplayer modes make this game a definate buy letting you face oponents from a few meters away to the other side of the globe. After every win you gain a certain number of points depending on how many kills you get after gaining a certain number of points you will be awarded a new ranking, the ranks go from 1 star to five star being the best. Howerver, if you loose a match you loose points and loose your ranking if you are already close to it. You can also gain medals and icons for your hunters licence that can be viewed by you freinds and rivals.

Lastability

The game offers you a fairly long story mode which can take a long time or a short time depending on how good you are. But with the Wi-Fi multiplayer the game can be endless for some people trying to reach the highest ranking and prove that your the best in the entire world by having a better hunters licence than anyone else. But trying to be the best can be very stressful sometimes and long games can be very tiring but it also makes it almost impossible to get board with hours of gameplay.

Overall

This game is a big must for DS gamers who like shooteres that challenge them to the limits. This game is very good in a lot of areas but still needs work on some of the graphics and the story mode could be a little longer because some games con complete the story in a couple of hours. Overall I think it is good but not perfect still needs work on graphics.
