Full Review for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames by deadlock

Introduction

You are dropped into the open world of Mercenaries 2. You are given details on who you are and what you must do. Choosing between three people Mattias, Chris, And mui. You are given the abilities to do anything and go anywhere. Blow the...crap..out of stuff or do missions to earn rewards such as fuel money and supplies. Start the game, finish the first mission then go crazy!

Graphics

Though incredibly good graphics they can not compare to other games such as visions edge. The graphics are stunning to what you may have expected, buildings have much detail, vehicles show even some dirt when driving. Though they stopped at the exact right time to not cause lag. Most of the time you are given as best as possible, but you are still stuck with the consistant two problems, all of the colors when running through forests and even just running around areas with not much in them, are from the same pallet. The colors are to of the same, confusing your eyes, and making it sometimes nearly impossible to see people. Compared to the first this games main color is orange, sometimes a dull red. While the first game, is incredibly easy to see in because the color is blue. The other problem is that without the sniper rifle, people seem to disappear. When they get to far away they are covered with mist. When using the sniper rifle sometimes if you track where they where going before they disappeared you can shoot them. Also when buildings are destroyed they are covered ih smoke, both for cool looks, but it is a lot easier the showing a explosion. Otherwise the visual graphics are great!

Sound

The sound is perfect. They have sounds for everything. When pulling people out of cars they speak. When enemy soldiers are following you, you can hear them. Which sometimes is bad, because they are way out of hearing range but you hear them anyways. The sound has to have a 9 out of 10 though it is very good, I am sure that even just a few more months later this would be a whole new game. But leaving it how it is this is just about the best game that someone can start out with for a shooter game.

Gameplay

Though the problems listed for graphics are evident the game play for this game is at a whole new level. After choosing your mercenary everything is different for each one. Mattias, has a faster health regeneration, Chris finds more ammo, and Mui (or whatever her name is) runs faster. After getting the hang of it hijacking and taking over vehicles gets easier. Starting with cars, you should get better at, the go for working with boats, Then onto to helicopters. Better then the first game you can move to new places faster. Getting new weapons is always a cool thing, Just keep searching and finds what works for you. The game play must score a 10 out of 10, it is stunning. Just keep playing and explore. You can always medivac back to your base.

Lastability

This game in prediction will have a very long time to go to the top. The game is everything that I have dreamed about, though it does not let you have the freedom to run out into a battle and shoot your machine gun into the air. But the game, ill last for generations to come. Just keep passing on the title and how great it is to other people.

Overall

The game will score a total of 9 out of ten. Though this is the best game I have played in a while, it does not give me everything I wanted. Do not worry noobs, though the game does start out slow after exploring you will find where the helicopters are. The game has a little more the average graphics, the best gameplay, and the sounds are phenominal. Buy the game, bust it out and go crazy!!
