Yo, Hello and this is Blitzman. I felt a good review was needed for this game. This is only my second review so bear with me and I hope you like it. Colonel to me was a really good game and the best of the fifth versions. I hope you enjoy reading this.
Once again graphis are pretty much staple. Nothing much has changed and considering the fact that they are GBA graphich they aren't too bad. A good graphic clean up would have been good. The full body navi shots are good as well as the close ups which reveal much more detail and can help you tell more about a Navi.
The sound is pretty good with some decent music. The panic music in this version was very much tolerable and it wasn't over done. However it was sometimes not needed. The music that went with each town was pretty good and the different inside music was good. Some however was slightly annoying and could've been better.
The gameplay to me was actually quite good. The liberation missions were quite good and always kept you on your toes and the rewards you got for them were spectacular. The help points made you think of a strategy and the hidden chips in panels were always fun to find. All the Navis handle well with good charge attacks adn special powers. Also the sub gameplay after you finish the game is challenging and will keep you entertained. The final boss is also really good. The viruses extremely poweful.
I myself never got overly tired of repeating the game. You could always take new approaches with the liberation missions and if you knew them well you knew what to avoid and what to get. Finding new combos and the random encounters with all navis kept you on your toes and all this helped keep the lastabillity up.
Overall the game was qutie good and a nice addition to the series. The gameplay, sound, graphics and execution all flowed together nicely and worked well. In my opinion I hope you keep the game in your collection and keep playing it. That is all for now and Thank you.
