Mario Kart DS is a racing game with the Nintendo warm and fuzzy feeling with the cool characters, karts and items. In this game you can get 4 different types of races, 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and Mirror Mode. They are all good in there own way. You can also get 32 race tracks, half from the past and half from the present. It is good because if you liked the old school tracks you can now play them on a double screen! Mario Kart DS is a game worth getting and if you aren't rushing up to the shops to get it right now, you will once I am done reviewing this.
It is impossible to get graphics better then this on todays technologys handheld systems. This is the best in graphics with it's detail and clear, crisp, cutting edge features. You can create your own display picture for when you are racing. If you play Wi-Fi you can see other people and race with them. It is fun because you know they arent just technolgy made but real humans living in the world. Anyway the graphics are fantastic and crystal clear. The game never has a bad moment in the area of graphics, and rarely anywhere else.
Sound... Sound, Sound, Sound. Hmmmm, wait a minute I remember the sound now and the thing I remember most is that it was some of the most awesome music I have heard. The reason I gave it a 9 is because I love the Zelda Themesong and Saria's Song more then anything. These songs are a collection of good ones though so if there was a 9.9 button I'd give it that. The sound differs, if I remember correctly, from track to track so repetitivism isn't a problem. I also like the noises the characters make when they throw something, get a boost, hit someone, etc. It is funny to hear Yoshi say his name in Yoshinese (Yoshi's Language) when he hits someone. Nevertheless my decision is that the sound is very good, maybe even great, but not worth a 10.
The gameplay is long, and difficult levels don't make it any easier. This makes the game long and hard, which in turn makes the game good and fun. There are many things to do, which makes the game what it is. One player, two player, Missions, Getting more stars for your file. There is lots to do and all of this is very fun. Something that makes this even more fun then it already is, is a little beauty called Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi allows you to connect to the internet and battle people you don't know and this makes the game fun. I think gameplay deserves a 9

There are many things to do, which makes the game what it is. One player, two player, Missions, Getting more stars for your file. There is lot's to do but it all does finish eventually. Yet the wonderful thing is when your done you can still battle (and hopefully beat) your friends. So whether or not you have finished the game or not there is still a fair bit to do.
This game is alot of fun. Racing games don't come better then this one. This game is long with lots of things to do and a game which makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. It is one in a million, and a unique game to play. In what other racing game can you play on mini-levels? What other racing game can you play with Wi-Fi? What other game has an aeroplane as a car? I said before this game is one in a million. Nintendo creates alot of these. If you are thinking about getting this game and for some reason you haven't already got it, I encourage you 100% to get it. I hope this review has helped you make the right choice.
