I expected manhunt to be a freeroam game (like gta) but was dissappointed when I found out it wasnt, that was until I realised the game dosent only consist of few levels, like the manual suggests. Normaly I don't like using stealth but this game gives it another dimension, bordem dosent come with waiting in the shadows, guns cause more problems than there worth (although sometimes you have no choice), and best of all you can use a plastic bag as a weapon, BUY THIS GAME!
Its impossible to give 10 out of 10 because that would suggest it was perfect which nothing is, but this is as close as you get in terms of graphic violence, you can vary how gory and violent your executions are by how long you can stick around without been seen. Theres nothing unique about these graphics but theres nothing to complain about either.
The sound couldnt get much better as you can here every puncture of the flesh, every swish of the blade, every crack of the skull. Every sound is as realistic as you can put on a disc and if you were blind you would think it's a movie. The only sound that I can think of they havent is the sound of heavy breathing.
The loading dosent take too long and is worth every second of waiting, for me a level takes between 10-25 minutes with no loading between. Freeroam would have improved the gameplay but there isnt much point with the amount of killing and blood there is in the levels.
I can't give a game that only has levels with no minigames or freeroam a higher mark than a 10 because once you have completed this game theres not much to do apart from what you have already done. I think theres about 16 levels so I would say you could thourghly enjoy this game for 5h 20m
Competing with gta this game had a lot to live up to and when everythings considered all gta has over it are cars and freeroam, but this has a better story line than anything, a man saved from deathrow by a mistirious man you can hear telling you to kill to live for him to film and sell, if you are old enough to pick up a joystick and can get someone to buy it for you get this game.
