This is one of the best adventure games on the DS.
The story is good.
You can capture the bad guys, choose if you want to be good or evil, learn new spells and do cool side-quests.
I like that you have different attributes and you nd you monsters can reach a maximum level of 50.
They aren't the best graphics as they look like they are rough sketches.
However there is colour and on the menus it doesn't look bad.
Movement isn't bad either as you do see the legs moving.
Background pictures when selecting your next spot is good as well as you can tell from the background what type of monsters you will find.
Not the best music I've heard during battles or when you're just moving from spot to spot. However when you fire or select spells it is realistic enough.
You hear rainfall when you use a raining spell.
Bang! When you use and explosion spell and a sort of whirling when you use wind spells.
The game play is good.
You can choose what monsters to use,
You can collect items,
You can let monsters use the items,
You draw the spells with the stylus,
You can level up,
You don't have infinite life of magic points.
You can also select where to move to and with which (if any) monsters
This game can last for ages.
You can pick between evil and good path.
As you get things on the good path that you don't on the evil path it's nice to do them both.
You can find new spells by mixing old ones.
And as battles aren't always long enough to do lots of them you get plenty of time to do this.
Overall despite the graphics and the music it's a good game.
Definitely the best one I own for the Nintendo DS.
The best bit is that you can keep finding new spells, play against other people via WiFi and you don't need a friend code (i think).
And choosing between good and evil and being able to get side quests on good it lasts a long time.
