• Water

  Although you cannot swim in Lethal Company, you can walk in shallow waters, if you venture too far out you will quickly find that you will not be able to fight the pull of the current and you will drown. Your crew will not be able to retrieve your corpse and as a result, they will be fined for your mishap.

Although this is something you do not want to intentionally do, if you do find you have accidentally dropped into water you need to immediately search for an edge and try to reach it as quickly as possible. If you fail to do this you will run out of oxygen and drown.

• How to Swim

  There are no specific actions or buttons in Lethal Company that enable you to move in the water like a competent swimmer. If you do find yourself in water the only thing you can do to traverse it is to jump and use your movements keys to move slowly around.

  Trying to move through water when you are unable to stand on the ground will quickly use up your stamina bar. Without oxygen you will only have eight to nine seconds of underwater survival before you drown. The only way you can extend your oxygen supply is by jumping as this will enable your character to briefly surface and get a gulp of air before submerging again.

  Jumping however will use up your stamina even faster and once you run out and can no longer jump your character will drown. Realistically it is probably impossible to swim anyway due to the weight of the gear every employee has on them in Lethal Company.
