How to Upgrade your Character

Upgrading your character in League of Angels: Chaos is essential as it enables them to increase their battle rating (BR) which also increases their strength. This How to Upgrade your Character guide will tell you the different ways in which you can upgrade your characters other than leveling up.

The main way to level up your character in League of Angels: Chaos is to simply complete quests and slay the enemies you encounter while doing so. When you successfully do this the game will reward you with XP. Listed below are other ways in which you can level up your character.

Equipment

The equipment that you can obtain for your character in League of Angels: Chaos can increase the stats of your character's attributes. There is plenty of equipment in this game and each item will affect certain attributes and contribute to upgrading your character. In total, you can equip 12 basic equipment to your character, 6 of which are restricted by class. This basically means only certain classes can equip that particular piece of equipment. The 12 basic equipment are listed below along with the attributes they affect.

Necklace

Attributes affected: ATK, PIERCE

Off-hand

Attributes affected: ATK, PIERCE

Pendant

Attributes affected: ATK, PIERCE

Left Ring

Attributes affected: ATK, PIERCE

Right Ring

Attributes affected: ATK, PIERCE

Helmet

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

Shoes

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

Gauntlets

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

Clothing

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

Belt

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

Greaves

Attributes affected: HP, DEF

The quality of basic equipment can be easily identified by its color which can be green, blue, purple, orange, or red. Green equipment is the worst while red equipment is the best, the higher the quality the more attribute bonuses the wearer will receive.

Equipment Enhancement and Refinement

Equipment can be upgraded to improve the number of attribute benefits it provides by enhancement and refinement. There are three rules that are always adhered to when this process takes place.

Rule 1.

The maximum enhancement/refinement level of equipment increases depending on its tier. You can find out the tier of your equipment by going to the Inventory.

Rule 2.

Enhancement/refinement levels are automatically inherited by replacement equipment.

Rule 3.

If equipment is replaced with a weaker one, the enhancement/refinement level will not exceed the latter's maximum levels. The original enhancement/refinement level will still be retained, but you will be unable to receive the attribute bonuses that come with it.

Enhancement

Enhancing your equipment requires the use of an Equipment Enhancement Stone which can be acquired from World Boss, Boss Lair, and Individual Arena. When you complete an enhancement set that requires all of your equipment components to be at a given enhancement level will grant you greater attribute benefits.

Refinement

In order to refine items you will need to acquire a Refinement Stone which is found in the Gold Shop and the Wild Lands. Unlike upgrades in enhancement which are assured to be successful the upgrades in refinement are contingent on a success rate. If your attempt fails to refine the Refinement Stones you expended are lost forever. Refinement also enables you to gain extra attribute benefits when you reach levels 10, 15, 20, and 30.

Consuming Growth Fruits

'Fruit' in League of Angels: Chaos are unique items that when consumed will increase your character's attributes. There are four types of Fruit - Growth Fruit, Advanced Fruit, Super Fruit, and Mythic Fruit. The amount of increase your character's attributes will depend on which Fruit you ingested.
