Kirby Air Ride is a really good game. It has a point to it like the checklists. What I really like about it is that it has three games; Air ride, Top Ride, and City Trial, which all have checklists. Top Ride is a little harder than the others because it's hard to know what you're doing. City trial is the easiest, which makes Air Ride right in the middle. They are all fun.
The Graphics are pretty good considering it's in 3-D and all that stuff. It could improve by making kirby a little more detailed, considering he's just a teeny ball with arms and legs. Sometimes when your far away from something it is sort of a blurr. Like the flower on the top of the orange rocks from the volcano looks like a star.
It had a lot of sound effects for this game but unlike other kirby games it did not have a demo for each sound, but it did let you play the course tracks when you unlocked it. I guess it usually had a sound for everything kirby ride did and kirby himself.
The reaction from your controller to your television was great. It was good game tempo. You could even change the game tempo in the options menu! It had a lot of effects and other things that made the game worth playing. There are almost too many things too do, and sometimes they are hard to do.
The game was not very much role playing. The thing that took the longest to do was all of the checklists. You had to acomplish 120 things for each game mode! Getting the checklist filled is fun and takes a while, which makes the game last longer. You can set some things for a certain amount of time or laps, which can make the game too long or too short.
Kirby Air Ride is one of my favorite games. It's multiplayer, so you can have more fun by playing with other people. Sometimes it gets boring without other players but sometimes the computers can comfort you. This game is not hard, but it is not super easy either. It is very enjoyable.
