• Save Your Ragdoll Cancel

Don't immediately side-dash away when you get ragdolled. Your Ragdoll Cancel can be used to turn a bad situation into a chance to attack.

If your opponent starts a move with a long windup, side-dash towards them while holding M1. The Ragdoll Cancel gives you a short period of invulnerability, which can let you avoid their attack and start your own combo.

Try not to use your Ragdoll Cancel just to escape. Watch what your opponent is doing and look for a chance to use it against them.

• Use 3 M1s Before a Downslam

A simple combo starter in Jujutsu Shenanigans is:

M1 ? M1 ? M1 ? Downslam

After your first three M1 attacks, jump and perform the fourth M1 while you are falling. This performs a Downslam instead of the normal fourth M1.

Downslam is unblockable, and it puts your opponent on the ground so you can follow up with an ability.

You can also use an Uppercut instead if you want to launch the opponent into the air. To do this, perform the fourth M1 while moving upwards.

Once you learn the basic timing, check which ability your character can use after the Downslam to build a longer combo.

• Use a Side-Dash M1 Against Blocking Players

If an opponent keeps blocking your M1 attacks, don't keep attacking them from directly in front.

Instead, side-dash and press M1 at the same time. This lets you move around the opponent while attacking and can get past their frontal block.

This is especially useful against players who block whenever you approach them. Mix normal M1 attacks with side-dash M1s so your attacks are harder to predict.

• Turn Your Camera to Extend Your M1 Range

You can make your M1 attacks reach slightly farther by using the M1 Range Extender technique.

While attacking with M1, turn your camera roughly 20 degrees towards your opponent. This can increase your effective M1 range and help you hit players who are just outside your normal reach.

This is useful when two players are trying to land the first M1. The extra range can help you win the exchange.

Once you can do it consistently, you can also combine the technique with a dash to perform a Forward-Dash Combo Extender, letting you continue your attack without resetting your M1 chain.

• Don't Always Forward Dash Into a Block

A forward dash is a good way to attack, but using it against a player who is already blocking can get you punished.

If you think the opponent is going to block, try whiffing your Forward Dash. During the dash, turn your character away so your attack doesn't hit their block. This avoids the extra endlag you get when your Forward Dash is blocked.

You can also try the Wrap Around technique. Forward dash towards the blocking player, then quickly turn your camera around as you pass them. If you time it correctly, you can attack them from behind instead of hitting their block.

Mixing these techniques into your attacks makes your Forward Dash much harder for opponents to predict.
