It is important that you pay attention to how the wind is blowing as it tends to shift with each turn and can if strong enough change the direction of your projectiles. To keep track of how the wind is blowing you need to look at the meter under the teams' 'Hit Points' and keep an eye on the 'Swoosh' lines that appear on the screen telling you what direction the wind is blowing.

Make sure that you use the couple of seconds you have after you fired your weapon and your turn ends to scurry to safer ground so you do not make an easy target of yourself.

Make sure before going for a crate that is not going to give you more problems than what it is worth. There will be times when it is best to leave difficult to reach crates and instead destroy them before the enemy gets them.

Take advantage of the explosive barrels and mines which are scattered on the battlefield which both sides can ignite to create problems for your enemy.

When you have an enemy that is swaying unsteadily above you on a thin strip of terrain and you are not having any success getting them with brute force you may want to consider digging under them. If you do this and are successful the enemy will take double-damage from your weapon as well as the subsequent fall.

Try to avoid using grenades in close quarter situations as there is always the risk of them rolling back towards you if it is windy.

Make sure when you are using weapons like the bazooka and grenades that you fire them from a safe distance as they can inflict splash damage if you are too close to the target.
