Even though the game claims you get 1 xp every 5 min for th brown house. In reality the game rounds up your bonuses so you get 2xp/5min vs 12xp every 6 hrs for the pink house. So if you buy a $2600 property and 6 houses for$4700, you can get 12xp every 5 min you play instead of 12xp every 6 hrs. Just keep the game open while you watch tv and collect taxes at commercials and you will easily make up the extra money you spent and rack up lots more experience.
