In the World Tour mode. In order to unlock anything (bar Dr. Eggman and the Avatar), you need to collect stars in the world tour mode. To unlock Dr. Eggman and your Avatar, complete Grand Prix mode on any difficulty in both Normal and Mirror mode in 1st place. |

Nope, completing world tour and grand priz only unlocks eggman. As far as I can tell the only way to get shadow and knuckles is to buy them |

| How do you resurrect yourself in Battle Race mode? |
You can't, only in the battle arena. In the arena you have to drive into someone who's alive three times. |
