Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Is there a faster way to get more boardwalk sections? I have made them by tapping on the boardwalk entrance, but that takes so long! Is there any other way to build the boardwalk?

You can use Donuts to make the sections become ready straight away but the longer the boardwalk sections take to build (I.e. 1 day 12 hrs) the more donuts it takes to finish each section.

If multiple tapped out friends tap on your boardwalk section then you will get multiple pieces. Always leave your boardwalk piece hovering and once your friends have tapped on it leave one handshake. Me and my friends are doing it.
