Question for The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I created an account after completing the tutorial and when logging into my Springfield I got a message "it seems there is another Springfield 6 on this device..." Or something like that.... I clicked no, and it started my Springfield all over again from the tutorial. So I closed the program and re-opened because I wanted to see if I can get back to where I was before I created my user name. Now I can't connect to server, I can't log out of the user name I created and can't use the app at all. I get messages like "your Springfield did not save on you're other device" and it try's to let me continue but always fails to connect to server. When attempting to logout of the user name I get fail to connect to server. I tried everything, even went as far as erasing all content on my iPad. Creating a new iTunes ID and re-downloading the ap. For some crazy reason it always defaults to my broken user name and I can not connect. I downloaded this app on my wife's device and created a new name that works, got all the way to level 10. For some stupid reason I tryed to logg into my other user name on my wifes device to see if I could fix the issue with my iPad. Now I can't use the app on either device (both are stuck on my bad user name). Someone help please!
