What is the best character combination?

In my opinion it's Ermac master of souls, mournful Kitana and any other out world card because Ermac starts with a bar of power for each other out world card on your team and mournful Kitana lets all out world cards on your team start with a bar of power so your Ermac will start with an x-Ray attack.

In my opinion I think Johnny Cage stunt double, Johnny cage A- list, and silver Kenshi or possessed kenshi would be the best team. I say that because stunt double johnny cage has that tag in effect to stun the opponent also him and the A- list johnny cage along with kenshi have the draining special so you basically dominate and prevent your opponent from using their specials and with the stunt double johnny cage and if you have him the possessed kenshi they both have the tag in effects so not only do they drain but they can keep being switched out to stun the opponent momentarily and with a- list johnny cage's effect he'll boost any special op team mate's health by 30%.

In my opinion,Mournful Kitana,Kotal Kahn and Master of souls Ermac.Kitana gives all outworld fighters a one energy bar,also Ermac gives all outworld fighters one energy bar,and Kotal Kahn is useful because all outword fighters are given 30% damage,so all fighters get two bars of energy at the start of the fight and they all get 30% damage.

In my opinion you should use Master of souls Ermac,Mournful Kitana and sun God Kotal Kahn.Ermac gives you one bar of energy for all outworld cards,Kitana gives you one bar of energy for outworld cards too,and Kotal Kahn will Give all outworld cards 30% more damage.so All cards get two bars of energy (three bars for Ermac) and your attacks do 30% more damage...I think that is a very good team.

All outworld assassin Kitana because when she tags in she ambushes opponents and makes them bleed then piercing melina heals 25% of the damage she does to bleeding enemies then sun god Kotal Kahn because he gives 30% + damage to out world teammates

I'm not sure if this is the best combination, but Covert Ops Cassie Cage (with wrath hammer), Inferno Scorpion and Balanced Kenshi has been proving a great team work. Cassie cage starts whit 2 power bars (kenshi provides one to all spec ops + 1 from the hammer). Cassie cage unblock almost all defense and keeps charging power bar, so you can damage in a few seconds (power attack #2 + series of punches and kicks) 3/4 or more energy from 2 enemies. Kenshi 1st power attack drains enemies power bars one by one (what is very useful in order to keep your team alive) and inferno scorpion has 6 seconds whit + 200% basic attack when he is on tag.. The damage is pretty bold. Of course you have to use additional equipment to enhance character abilities but you can get it with not a huge effort...

Full Kenshi team is also good as the goods are strong themselves and silver get 40% extra attack and health. Together they are quite overpowered

Silver Kenshi + ninjutsu Scorpion + demolition Sonya

Use your Kenshi as your main attacker, you'll got huge attack and health bonus from kenshi's passive ability from pairing him up with spec ops and martial artist teammate and also you'll got 2x 30% attack bonus from Scorpion and Sonya's passive ability, there you'll got an ultimate team.

Ronin Kenshi, Thunder God Raiden, and revenant Zubi zer

Silver Kenshi is the main and most affordable character in this game. He is so powerful as much or even more than other gold cards. How to combine him. I use him with ninjutsu Scorpion (+30% attack) and silver Kung Jin will add (+30% critical chance). It added to the 40% extra attack he will get for being teamed with martial artist, you create a powerful character. Give him a hammer and a thougness boost and you are done. Personally I never got beated with this combination, especial 1 can reach 25k damage and special 2 up to 48k by far enough to destroy any other character. Not that much investment.. Believe me.

The best team is 1. Covert ops Cassie Cage 2. Demolition Sonya blade 3. Kold War Sonya blade

Cassie Cage is 25% unblock able attacks spec ops teammates (all 3 are spec ops)

Demolition Sonya blade is +30% damage for spec ops team mates(they're all spec ops cards)

Kold War Sonya blade gives shield from one special attack Including (1st, 2nd and x-Ray/3rd attack)
If the cards are fissioned even better👌🏻💯💯

Personally I say to mix the types because different character types work better against others.

1. Inferno Scorpian

My awesome team is all netherrealm I have reverant Kung Lao with his bladed had (grants 1 bar of power to him) also his special perk gives 1 bar of power to each netherrealm teammates then dark raiden and because of Kung Lao's special perk he gives raiden 1 bar of power. I chose him because he has the cool special stuff like power drain gets reversed and gives him power and bleed and damage over time effects heal him lastly I have inferno Scorpion for his perk on tag in "for 6 seconds gets 200% damage" plus reverant Kung lao's perk gives I bar of power.

In Neitherlam Characters : Jason voorrhes + Quan chi + Dark Radien
Martial Arts : Kenshi + Sub Zero + Kung Lao
Spec Ops : Casi Cage + Jonny Cage + Sonya Balde

This is my favorite team because C.O. Cassie Cage gives 25% chance for unblockable hits which is great for C.O. Cassie Cage's and T. Sonya Blade's long and very quick attack chains as well as a chance of the enemy not being able to block T. Sonya Blade's drone. Stunt Double Johnny Cage was a hard choice to make,it was between him and Balanced Kenshi. Both options make for a great team especially because their first power bars have power drain, which is extremely powerful as it keeps your enemy from gaining power to use. However, I chose S.D. Johnny Cage because he has a tag in effect that stuns which unlike like a power bar I can abuse many times during a match as well as. The most important thing to me a quick attack chain so that the enemy can't attack you in between cchains.
E.g. I start with C.O. Cassie Cage, The enemy team however has a Shoalin Kung Jin, so I switch to S.D. Johnny Cage dealing a small portion of damage and stunning him which allows you to let of a couple of attack chains just enough to get 1 bar of power without taking any damage, from there you can switch to someone else and repeat the process.

For Martial Artists

This is my second favorite team but it's just as strong as my first and I will explain why. H.T. Kung Lao's passive ability is extremely strong especially with his tag in attack and ridiculously strong 2nd power bar attack and very quick attack chains. My next pick is I. Scorpion this choice is obvious for his amazing attack boost on tag in, however he is a bit slow, so when I tag in I like to instantly use my first power bar to stun the enemy, (don't worry it doesn't take up time so you will still have the 200% [4x] boost) however you can also use the second power bar to do the same thing but since it most often kills the enemy I only use it when it's the last enemy or my opponent has a lot of health. My third pick makes this team complete. P. Kenshi's tag in attack means that this team is entirely made of tag-in-attackers so obviously taggin in and out is encouraged. P. Kenshi also has a power draining attack for his first power bar, which means that along with the deadly, power draining, O.P. Fire the enemy will never have any power again, which is why whenever an enemy has any power I just switch into P. Kenshi drain their power, then tag in to I. Scorpion, to obliterate them and maybe the next if I still have power, then sweep up the crumbs with H.T. Kung Lao.

For Outworlders

Okay, I know most of you might be thinking that there are way greater Outworld teams than this but hear me out. Firstly I know that the most think the best team in the game is Master of Souls Ermac, Mournful Kitana, and Sun God Kotal Kahn. I disagree. This team is good if your looking to sneak in those power moves as fast as possible, which is frankly not fun as it takes a lot away from the game, and can very easily be countered if you use M.O.S. Ermac's X-ray, (if you don't know M.O.S. Ermac gains 1 power bar for each Outworld teammate so if your team is all Outworld then he gains 3 power bars at the beggining of the fight) on the wrong person which personally I do all the time, it happens when the enemy tags in someone else, right before you use it and you end up using it on the wrong enemy. Secondly even with 1 bar of power I find that M. Kitana & S.G. Kotal Kahn are rather weak without more boosts from teammates.
Now that that is thoroughly explained I can move on to my explanation for my third favorite team.
N. Reptile's passive ability is that the entire team's poison and bleed damage are boosted by 30% which, obviously makes Assassin Kitana significantly stronger now that her bleed damage is actually noticeable. Next is S.Q. D'vorah. S.Q. D'vorah's passive is rather confusing so for those who don't know S.Q. D'vorah's passive is that she she can inflict multiple side-effects on the opponent, which is really confusing so to clear it up this activates when you use her 2nd power bar move, and it will usually cause 2-3 effects but very rarely it will cause 1 or 4, most commonly I get poison, bleed, power drain, and/or blind. My only problem with S.Q. D'vorah is that she is kind of slow (not too slow however) so I really only use her for the effects and to fight bosses or extremely strong enemies, S.Q. D'vorah is without a doubt the best card you can use against bosses because all it takes is 2 power bars, and the strongest of cards (except for Dark Raiden) get knocked down to your level or even lower.

So there you have it my favorite teams.

For Spec Ops

Team1 : KENSHIN [Silver] + Kung Jin [Silver] + Hat Trick Kung Lao

Team2: Cassie Cage [Silver] + Kold War Sonya BLADE [Defense] / Demo SONYA BLADE [Atk] + Heavy Weapons Jax BRIGGS

Dark raiden to prevent power drains, Dark empress Kitana to steal characters from opposite team, and revnant Kung Lao to give a bar of power to all netherealm characters. A substitution for kung lao could be the new shinok which comes out next month. His passive is for every character dead it gains 25% attack and for any character resurected you gain 25%. Hence Dark empress Kitana. Its a pretty good well rounded team.

I can count on one hand how many times I've lost with this team (over 400+ matches):

Silver Kenshi
Thunder God Raiden
Possessed Kenshi

Silver Kenshi has a nasty attack boost and is your main attacker, possessed Kenshi wears them down (and has great health), and Raiden (particularly with his special 2) finishes them off. This team is all about power draining, and the opponent is forced to beat you without his specials (which is nearly impossible).

I'd say use the three Kenshi. (Silver, possessed and balanced) They all have power drain, so you can prevent your opponent from special attacking. Silver kenshi gets bonus attack and defence from martial artists and spec ops, the same took types as the gold cards. Also, possessed kenshi's tag in attack is a good way to drain health from your opponents.

My current team is Balanced Kenshi, Undead Hunter Johnny Cage and Quan Chi. I pretty much dominate with Kenshi And Johnny, they both do f***ing awesome basic attack damage and they both drain power in their first special. Quanchi is awesome for reanimating any of them if they die, although he too packs a punch. You can replace Quanchi with any version of Jax Briggs or Covert Ops Cassie Cage or Tactical Sonya Blade.
Another cool team would be Assassin Kitana, Possessed Kenshi and Thunder God Raiden. All deal damage on tag-in.
Any team with Dark Raiden is brutally awesome. That thing is like unstoppable when paired up with Revenant Kung Lao and any other Netherrealm character.
My personal opinion, suggestions accepted happily.

My teams are:

#1: Master of Souls Ermac, Mournful Kitana, Sun God Kotal Khan
This team is lethal. I easily reach 1% rank spamming 7/7 fights with this comp. Ermac starts with three bars so I immediately x-ray and take out one character on their team. I then switch to Kotal and only use his 2 ability which is a grapple, afterwards I just use Kitana and only spam her 1 which is power drain.

#2 This is a cheeky comp, but it's good if you're smart. I use Thunder God Raiden, A-List Johnny, and Possessed Kenshi. You're free to change any for Assassin Kitana or any other character that does something on tag in. I start out with Raiden and immediately tag out for Kenshi to burn my opponent. I spam 1 for power drain and to make time to tag out again. As soon as I can, I tag out for Johnny, stunning my opponent and doing a full combo/1 ability which is also power drain. If opponent isn't dead and hasn't tagged out, I go for Raiden to finish it off. If they tag out or if they die I go for Kenshi again and rinse&repeat. It's a pretty fun team comp that makes you stay extra aware because you need to have good timing.
Also, a cheeky combo to do in towers is use an ally attack while you have Johnny tagged in, and at the end of the ally atk, Johnny tags back in stunning the opponent and then you can tag out for Kenshi again. Let's you sweep bosses pretty hard.

#3 This one is a bit douche baggy, but it's Slasher Jason, Warlock Quan Chi, and Grand Master Sub-Zero. You can sub out Sub0 for Mileena if you want.
Jason is obviously a force to be reckon with reviving three times is unfair, plus Sub Zero cloning ability.

A future team I'm planning on making is Kraken Reptile, Nimble Reptile, and Venomous D'Vorah (or Noxious Reptile)
I would put a Dragonic Shield at fusion lv x on Kraken so I can whittle down high dps opponents (fu Liu Kang) by Blocking.
Nimble Reptile is a speedy mofo and it's 30% health increase would make Kraken even more tanky. Finally, since I have a lot of poison, I thought Venomous D Vorah would be a great fit.

I love having different team comps (albeit my main team might be common) too many kenshis, co cassies, and scorpions

Faction Wars: Slasher Jason, Kold War Sonya, Warlock Quan-Chi.
There is no need to explain why. I have maxed out GM Sub-Zero, Inferno Scorpion, Possessed Kenshi. All with their maxed out equipment. I've fought multiple people using that ultimate douche baggery team and I've yet to win against it once.

This is just for me - but I barely started this game and I basically dominated with a simple team of gold tier shaolin master Kung Lao, 7 fused Shirai Ryu and 7 fused Saurian. All characters are Level 50. Of course Shaolin Master Kung Lao is hard to get since it's Kard pack exclusive but the effects are 300% increase in every attribute (attack, health, toughness, etc.) for all bronze tier teammate. Only downside I see is that bronze don't have a 3rd special attack, but overall it's a great combination. Maximum attack damage of their 2nd attack is about 25k. And for me it's been working out well. I've been working on a second team of all the silver tier cage family (Cassie, Sonya and Johnny). This by far is also working out pretty well. I'm working on a 3rd team probably come up with a all gold tier team and see what I can come up with.

Slasher Jason Voorhees + Kold War aSonya Blade + Dark Raiden,now i'll explain why,first of all raiden reverses the power drain and all bleeding types,so if like Kenshi uses his first attack to drain his power off he will gain it instead of losing it. That kold war Sonya that protects you from the first enemy's special attack ( it can be 1st 2nd and xray,it doesn't matter ) and slasher because he revives 2 times and both with one power bar,except this his special attacks have all bleeding bonus which is very good on opponents with much health

Slasher Jason + Dark Raiden + Kold War Sonya Blade, Slasher because he revives 2 times and both with an additional power bar, Dark Raiden because he reverses all bleeding types ( poison bleeding fire ) into health and power drain makes him gain power instead of drain it, and Sonya because she gives you a strat of ice which reduces a giant part of special attack damage ( it can be the 1st the 2nd and X-Ray )

Both the Jason's or 1 Jason and GM Sub-Zero and Quan Chi. So many revives bruv

Dark Emperor Lui kang,Netherealm Kung Lao,Shaloin Kung Jin
This team gives a x ray chance for Lui kang

My favorite team is Dark Emperor Liu Kang, Revenent Kung Lao, and Balenced Kenshi. Give Liu Kang a Wrath Hammer and put him first, he will be your attacker. When you start Kitanna and Kung Lao will start with one bar of power, the opponent will be stunned because of Liu Kang's passive and he will already have his x-Ray. You do the rest.

Ermac master of souls, mournful Kitana,klassic Kano after ermacs X -ray on first turn, you have only 2 oponents and 3 heros with two of them one bar of power

I'm using Revenant Kung Lao , Kold War Scorpion and Kold War Sonya Blade (all at Level 50), equipping KW Scorpion with the Wrath Hammer. This gives him one bar of power + another bar from Kung Lao's passive. Use his Flame Shield (Special 2) straight away to give him double protection thanks to KW Sonya's Ice Armour.

I've found this combo has made me pretty unbeatable and made the Faction War Fatal levels a doddle !!

Personally it would be Dark raiden, Thundergod raiden, and The unstoppable Jason Voorhees due to the fact that Dark raiden puts of a lot of damage very fast, Thundergod raiden for the same reason plus the fact he takes away 20% of his opponents current Heath (so I would put Dark raiden in ahead of him and the put thunder god raiden in to get the most possible damage from the 20%), and Jason Voorhees just as back up just in case you find a very hard opponent (you can switch him out).

In opinion it would be dark raiden, thunder God raiden, and Jason Voorhees.
Why?
Dark raiden-He puts off a lot of damage very fast and had a very powerful speacial two.

Thunder God raiden-He has the same reason as Dark raiden plus his ability is very useful because it take 20% of an opponents health (To get the full effect of this put Dark raiden or Jason Voorhees in before him and tag him in as soon as the match starts and then tag him out before the next opponent gets in and then tag him in when the next opponent tags in) the reason you should use that tactic is so you can take 20% of the opponents full health.

Jason Voorhees- Jason is just here as a back up I use him because his speacial 2 can heal him nonstop until he has full health and he is just overall a great character (you can change him out if you would like but I recommend him)

I hope you guys can try this team it's very hard to get but it is even harder to beat if you know how to use it ;)

Up till now,the triborg team is the best one. Their passive abilities greatly compliment one another.plus,they are all INDIVIDUALLY better than ANY gold character in the game.
The triborg team consists of cyrax triborg(1225 attack, 975 health),smoke triborg(1100 attack, 1100 health) and sektor triborg(1200 attack, 1000 health, which is equal to kobu jutsu tanya but sektor's toughness and recovery surpass her).
So you can say they are better than any gold exclusive character.
This team is also better than the diamond exclusive character team as none of their passive abilities compliment each other(except for ranevous Mileena who boosts any team member's over time damage by 80%).

@ Tried the Triborg combination (Cyrix, Smoke & Sektor) No doubt they are better than all diamond characters yet I happen to find it below par when chosen a better team....
The Best team I came across so far
Relentless Jason + Slasher Jason + Cold war Sonya Blade

The combination is so lethal that allows each member to start with an encased ice armor that can withstand damage of a single Special or even X ray. To top it up usage of eqpt cards such as wrath hammer and Bloody Tomhawk lets the JASON unleash with 1 bar of starting power.
Slasher Jason even when defeated rises again with increased damage & +1 bar of power - Twice.
To top it up Relentless Jason automatically evades any special attack done on him & while evading attacks & stuns his opponent, moreover, all his teammates get a chance of having an unblockable SP2.
If thats still less use cold war Sonya that gives 30% attack versus any outworld and has awesome SP2 with her machine gun when paired with JASONs...
(Was using this combi with unstopable Jason but off late found relentless Jason combination unbeatable....yes unbeatable !!!)

Verdict ....
Slasher Jason + Relentless Jason + Cold War Sonya Blade = Unbeatable Combo !!!

Ninja Mime Johnny Cage, Sergeant and Shaolin master Kung Lao

Shaolin Kung Lao, ANY Maxed out martial artist bronze tier, and Scorpion.

Shaolin Kung Lao gives bronze tiers 3 times the damage, health, toughness, etc. Scorpion gives 15% damage boost to any martial artist, that's 315% the damage for your bronze. The 15% damage boost also affects Shaolin Kung Lao because he is a martial artist.

Think of it like this: My level 27 bronze does 9,000 damage and has 9,000 health because of Kung Lao

Spec Ops Scorpion,Dark Raiden and Quan Chi or Jason because if dead Scorpion will help you.For Dark Raiden,it reverse the poison,fire and bleed effect.Also power drain will turn to give power instead of draining it.For Quan Chi and Jason they will ressurected.(Sorry for bad English)

I was using all Kenshi team with possessed kenshi (fusion lvl 6), balanced kenshi (fusion lvl 3)and silver kenshi(fusion lvl 7) and it helped me finish the game easily. It is a kick ass team. Provide the silver kenshi with a wrath hammer and it starts with the second special. Now I am using an all spec ops team with a list Johnny Cage(fusion lvl 6), undead hunter Johnny cage(fusion lvl 4)and demolition Sonya blade(fusion lvl 3). Undead hunter Johnny cage is really fast and with the damage boost and health boost from his teammates, he will be practically unstoppable. If you can provide undead hunter Johnny cage with some critical chance card, then he will work like magic. These two teams has never failed me in any of the faction wars or in any towers. I think these two are some kick ass teams.

The most fatal silver Kenshi team is - silver kenshi, balanced kenshi and spec ops Scorpion. You'll never find any silver kenshi team better than tjis I personally guarantee you. Silver kenshi gets benefited from spec ops which are balanced kenshi and spec ops scorpion but then spec ops scorpion is martial artist too!! So you'll get your 40% attack benefit !! Balanced kenshi grants them all with 1 bar of power and spec ops scorpion grants them the ability to steal power while tagging in as they all are spec ops !! And of course he saves them from one fatal blow!! I guarantee you nobody will ever tell you a better team combination than this one. Sad thing is silver kenshi is silver, not gold obviously. Otherwise nobody would be able to stop this team ever. And if you are confused with the talent tree os equipments, then invest on those who enhance your special 1 ability and Revenant talent.

It's a matter of choice really.
Personally, I like Spec Ops.
An inexperienced opponent can't beat you with this group:

1- Undead Hunter Johnny Cage (My favorite character)
*Does +30% damage vs Netherrealm
*Gains 50% power upon enemy resurrection
*Additionally, Undead Johnny is fast
*Believe it or not, you'll face more Netherrealm opponents, that's why Undead Johnny is my fav

2- Klassic Sonya Blade
*Her SP1 breaks entire enemy shield (People love kold war Sonya) so you have an advantage tactically.
*All Spec Ops in your team ignore enemy toughness (That's a massive plus against diamond tier characters)
*Klassic Sonya gains shield protection after performing her SP3 (would save your butt on a 1v1 situation)

3- High Tech Jacqui Briggs
*Jacqui gives all Spec Ops a +20% power generation increase (Power is gold)
*Jacqui drains enemy power on SP1
*Jacqui is as fast as Revenant Kung Lao and Dark Emperor Liu Kang

Balanced Kenshi is also one of my fav and I use him a lot.
Diamond characters are overpowered and hard to get if you're not a spender.
I do not use them, but kick their butts for fun.

Klassic Liu Kang, elder god Kenshi and kold war Sonya blade... Liu kang for damage sonya for shield and kenshi for backup hence it's second special idk why but eveytime I open elite pack I always get klassic liu kang I have it fused thrice, luck probably!

Silver Kenshi, balanced kenshi and possessed kenshi make the best team. With their power drain special 1 you are basically unstoppable

My 2 teams are Dark emperor Liu Kang fully fused and upgraded, kombat cup johnny and Sonya fully fused and upgrade. Absolutely one of the best teams, they just dominate.
Then I have Diamond Reptile (my fav character), Klassic raiden and kraken reptile who is fully fused and upgraded. That team works out very well because of diamond reptiles passive and the klassic raidens passive aswell.
And then ofcourse all the triborgs, yellow, black and blue.

Nobody talks about the fact that Dark Raiden has reverse almost everything. Burn, bleed, poison does nothing bu heal, power drain gives him power. Stun is the way to go for him, that or just straight deadly damage. So teams with him would be good since he's elder god. My team so far(only because of MK11 event) is

Elder God Kenshi
Dark Raiden
MK11 Raiden.

Even thought the MK11 teams have their own good states.
