There will be times when extra Souls will be given to you as a bonus reward for leveling up a fighter.

You can earn extra Experience and upgrades by replaying previous levels.

You can earn extra Souls by completing ALL 3 daily missions.

When you link to the console version of Mortal Kombat X you will receive bonus Souls in the mobile version.

You can earn additional Souls by playing online in Ladder Tournaments, doing this is also a good way of getting more allies.

When you complete the tutorial you will receive a silver level character which you can upgrade with the Koins you receive after the first level of battle. Upgrading this silver level character is more beneficial than purchasing a bronze level character.

To get the most from your characters always look to put together a team which members passive skills, special moves, and defensive capabilities complement each other.

A good strategy is to create a second and third team of fighters as soon as possible as doing this will allow you to continue playing with another team and not spend Souls replenishing your original team's energy which can then be left to restore energy naturally over time.

Your energy meter is restored by using Souls, to restore the energy of an entire team will require 9 Souls. Souls can also be spent on unlocking other fighters.

You can perform a three-hit chain by rapidly tapping three punches. Your enemy is also capable of performing this attack and you will need to use a triple block to counter it. If your opponent stops after one or two attacks it is safe to go on the offensive.

Don't waste Souls on stamina refills, it is more beneficial to use them on unlocking Gold characters.
