A seed is basically a format for generating the landscape in the form of a code (e.g. 365)
If you have pocket edition lite, you probably have no idea what seeds are, because lite doesn't use seeds. You don't need to know about them to play lite...
If you have the full version you know that there is a box when you create a new world below the button to select creative or survival mode.You enter a seed in that box, or leave it blank for the pc to randomly select
If you want to try entering a seed but you don't know where to start, you an search it online or look on this website. My favorite seed is "SkyBlock" (No quotes, case sensitive)
