I can't make flint and steel even tho I have 30 coal and 20 iron it says I have 0 coal when I try to craft it any thoughts?

I might be that the coal you mine from the groung and the coal you get from burning a tree is different

You need FLINT from GRAVEL it takes a few tries coal and flint

You need to shovel/pick axe at gravel then pick up the gravel in your inventory.Repeat this till you get flint.Then get some iron from burning iron ore.There is no need for coal.Coal is used for torches.This is in the new update.Not all gravel will give flint
