Question for FIFA 12

How do I get my players better skill ratings to stick? I was messing around with putting my players in different line-ups, then I put it back on default, and Snijder, usually 86 had become 92, and Cambiasso, usually 82 became 96. I saved it, and when I looked again, it was back to normal. How do I get it to stay that way?
