Of course it will not if you mean that you will just hold down the power key and then slide shut down. That only means that if some thing is frozen or some thing is not working properly you can restart it. Ex. If your bakery is frozen and you can't do any thing like you go into settings or just back out of it. You would have to restart it or reboot it ( same thing ). Remember the memory in your ITouch won't forget anything you have done. Well unless you take out the memory witch I think you will not do. I am sorry if I could not help!

After playing one day, I realized I made some mistakes and did things I wish I hadn't... So I deleted the game wanting to start over, because it 'says' it will delete everything.including all saved data. Then the next day I downloaded it again, so I could 'start over'... But everything was STILL there just as it was... It didn't delete any data. So I would imagine even if you reset everything, and re-download it, it will somehow still keep your game info.
