Build more VIP houses to get more population. The problem is that it will cost you 300 diamonds per house! It doesn't come any cheaper

How can I find the crown in Montreal?

I think you need to eliminate the pirate ship near Montreal first.

When I first did that quest I wasn't able to trade with Montreal straight away (lack of relevant resources), then later when I did trade I never got the crown, no matter how many times I traded. I wondered if that pirate ship needed to be eliminated again so I did that immediately before trading with Montreal again and got the crown at the end of that expedition.

How do you move objects once they are placed in the kingdom?

Most buildings you can put into storage and get them out again on the desired new spot!
