Coins

Coins are primarily used to purchase upgrades and Items to assist you and your shark in your journey, via the shop.

Earning Coins:

Coins can be earned during the Gold Rush, which is often activated once you get a 10x multiplier or higher. Each golden creature that you eat will net you some Coins. Also, even outside the Gold Rush scenario, you will see golden creatures swimming around the Map. Eat these for some Coins.

You can also pick up various collectibles, of which there are 15 every time you play a stage. For every one you manage to find and pick up, you will earn Coins. Get them all and you will receive an almighty bonus in the form of a stack more Coins. You can often find these collectibles deep down at the bottom of the reefs or nestled inside caves.

The best way to nab lots of Coins is to look out for the Daily Bonus Chest. This lies waiting for you in the same position each time you play, and disappears after you have collected it for another day. The reward that you get for opening the bonus chest increases if you manage to login to the game and collect it for numerous days in a row, ending up with Gems as a possible reward if you keep at it for 7 days.

There is also a Survival Bonus available, the amount of which depends on how long you stay alive on a particular level. This bonus rockets goes up every minute that you survive, and can get to be a pretty large amount of Coins once you pass the 10 minute mark.

You also, finally, receive Coins for completing Missions.
