Full Review for Halo 3 by qwertyuio

Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Halo 3 Review. I am a Halo Hub mod so I do now what I am doing when I talk about this game. Here I hope to be able to tell you about Halo so that you can make the decision if you wish to buy it or not. I am a Colonel on Xbox LIVE so I have seen my fair share of battles and hope to make things easier for you.I will go through 5 different category's on how a game can be rated.

Graphics

The graphics for this game perfectly soot the kind of feeling that bungie (the developers) wanted. Halo's graphics are not ment to be extremely realistic like Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare, but instead are more made to a more comicy look while still looking realistic.Call of Duty is made to look realistic, Halo is made to look that and also fun. It takes you into an Alien world that is actually Australia. The graphics do a great job complimenting the gameplay and I really could not ask for any better. 10/10

Sound

The sound for the Halo series and especially this game. You will love the shreaks of grunts dieing off and the many witty comments of dialogue will make you burst into laughter. The Halo games have one numerous awards incluse best ever soundtrack for a game by many different people. It is dramatic but can be sad at the same time, truly perfecting another important aspect of the game. The sound quality and music will truly amaze you as it has done to many others. You may evem find yourself buying the soundtrack. I did. ;) 10/10 here as well. Pure Awesomeness

Gameplay

The game play for Halo 3 is just as amazing as everything else in the game. It others many different modes all with their own fun installed. You will be taken through a huge variety of different weapons, equipment, and power ups from two different races. Everyone will find a weapon to their liking and everyone will find something they like to do. The matchmaking is really the best part of Halo. Fast finding, accurate skill matching and just plain tons of fun to play with others. Unlike Call of Duty, which basically enforces just brute fighting , Halo 3 also incorporates fun ALONG with all the action you could ever want. Laughs + Action = A happy gamer. 10/10 for this as well.

Lastability

Halo can truly be played forever. Campaign offers great play and is always fun to go back and do with friends. You could play a meta-game, go find the skulls, or finish it on Legendary. (A true accomplishment) You will find yourself in a different situation every time with enemy's greatly responding to how you act. Matchmaking allows for you to test your skills with or against others. The ranking system is set so it will keep you busy for a long time till you become a General Grade 4. (Highest Rank) And even when you do reach that, there is still endless fun from playing Halo 3's matchmaking and owning others. The best thing about Halo lastability wise, is forge. Forge allows you to take a map, and basically completely re-make it. With everything you want on it and completely new and different scenarios. There is completely no way you could believe the kind of crazy stuff people come up with in forge and playing out in these new maps is amazingly fun. Plus, every couple months bungie releases new maps for Microsoft points (usually 800) that add a great completely new experience. The theater also allows you re-visit your most proud moments or to prove to that one person who won't listen to you that you did get that head shot. :P 10/10

Overall

Overall this is the best FPS game your going to get. Only competitor is Call Of Duty 4:Modern Warfare. It combines all great aspects of a good game and multiplies them for even better greatness. If you haven't bought a 360 and got Halo yet, do it right now. IT IS WORTH BUYING A 360 JUST FOR HALO 3. Thats just how awesome it is. So if you are looking for a great, actiony, and FUN, FPS game. Halo 3 is what you want. Overall points = 50/50
