Introduction

Halo 3 is the first of the series that I have owned. When I got it, I was so excited. I first turned it on and the music was pure awesomeness, and so were the graphics. I thought this was going to be the cooloest game I have ever played. It was cool, but there were a couple flaws I didn't like.

Graphics

The graphics were awesome. The only reason they got a nine was because aliens and armored supersoldiers aren't something you would see in everyday life, but they were very believable. The parts with Cortana were awesome too, you could see every line of the code projected on her. This is what she was supposed to look like. The brutes had a tremendous amount of detail and not only that, but the props and terrain looked wonderful as well. The whole collage of graphics is wonderful.

Sound

The sound was good, but the, what do you call it, chanting got on my nerves a bit. The action music was awesome, and voices were incredible. The mouths of characters actually kept up with the words. You don't see this wonderful feat in every game you play. Bungie did a great job with the sound.

Gameplay

The gameplay was awesome. The features in the game were incredible. All the side features were awesome. How many game can you actually edit maps into your own creations. When your finished with that, we can watch ourselves making the map, and take a screenshot of the most memorable moment of the game. Ten out of ten.

Lastability

The game, to be quite frankly, is very short and only good for one time through. Unless, of course, you have broadband internet and able to play on X-Box Live. The game provides countless hours of creating different types of matches for your fun. Facing new and harder to defeat oppenents is always challenging.

Overall

The game deserves a nine over-all. I have pointed out the few flaws in the game and highly recomend it, especially with the new expansion pack coming out soon. This game is very challenging and the harder the difficulty, the harder it gets.
