Make It Rain
Purchase an item from the Armory that requires the rank of Lt. Colonel.

To reach the rank of Lt. Colonel, you must climb through the following ranks: Recruit,
Private, Corporal, Corporal Grade 1, Sergeant, Sergeant Grade 1, Sergeant Grade 2, Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer Grade 1, Warrant Officer Grade 2, Warrant Officer Grade 3, Captain, Captain Grade 1, Captain Grade 2, Captain Grade 3, Major, Major Grade 1, Major Grade 2, and Major Grade 3.

That's quite a way to go, and quite a lot of credits! With enough dedication, you'll reach the rank of Lt. Colonel. Then, just purchase an item that requires the Lt. Colonel rank (for example, Grenadier Knee Pads, the JFO Helmet or the MJOLNIR Mk. V Helmet) and this achievement is yours!

The Start Of Something
Reach the rank of Corporal in the UNSC.

Move through the Recruit and Private ranks to reach Corporal. You'll reach this rank and unlock this achievement in no time.

An Honor Serving
Reach the rank of Captain in the UNSC.

To reach the rank of Captain, you must climb through the following ranks: Recruit,
Private, Corporal, Corporal Grade 1, Sergeant, Sergeant Grade 1, Sergeant Grade 2, Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer Grade 1, Warrant Officer Grade 2, and Warrant Officer Grade 3.

Just keep at it and you'll eventually earn this rank and achievement.

Lemme Upgrade Ya
Advance a Commendation to a Silver state.

You can see your Commendation progress by pressing the Back button when on the main menu, entering the Service Tag section and then Commendations.

To advance a Commendation to Silver, you first must move through the Iron and Bronze states. Keep playing and you'll eventually meet this requirement.
