Empire Points

These are this particular game's premium currency. To get Empire Points, you generally have to purchase them with real money! You do get 15 to get you going when you set up your first game. You can use Empire Points to get through the game quicker, completing tasks and generally making the whole experience easier. Also, you can use them to buy allies to help you in combat.
