Introduction

Ok gears has been out for a while, but I havent given my review of it yet hahaha. Well here it is... First of all gears of war is a 3rd person over the shoulder shooter game. It's really well done, and you can tell they put a lot of work into it which is a good thing.

Graphics

Ok first of all, this game has been out for at least 2 years I belive, if not it's been out for 1. But anyways, it's still one of the best games I've ever seen! And the gore on this game is amazing, from chainsawing someone and the blood splattering on your screen. From your sniper bullet ripping through someone's head sending parts of their brain and skull flying high in the sky. To the simple things such as the background and the birds flying above the sea in gridlock, they def. Did not miss a step whil making this game.

Sound

The sound is great, the weapon fire could be a little bit more unique, but it's still great. The sound effects are awsome. And the voice work is great! But the dialog was simple at times, however this is not enough to actually complain. Sound was great, as you can hear someone roadie running behind you coming to kill you, allowing you to react. The lightning effects and sound scaired the crap outta me and actually made me scream hahaha

Gameplay

Ok gameplay on the single player was just like it should be. More than your average shooter, this game forces you to take cover, which was really well done. Gameplay online was even better, with many moments that made you think to your self... Holy crap did I just do that?! Lol

Lastability

Ok this game is old. But it's still one of the best selling games out there, and I've had it since day 1, and I'm still geeking out about it! Once you finish the story mode and finish it 100%, theres still online. And even when you get every achievment in the game, an awsome headshot you get on someone never gets old

Overall

Every thing about this game surpassed the expectations about it. Which where high to begin with, this game is def. The best game I've played and the most enjoyable. The only bad thing about this game is it's easy to get addicted too lol. I've spent many weeks no sleep playing this game. And yes I do have a life thank you. My life however is gears of war lol
