The four stages of Ganandorf hints and tips for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The four stages of Ganandorf

If you can not tell in this hint I will be telling you how to beat all four stages of Ganandorf.

Stage One: Zelda

This is by most the easiest fight in the game. For those who have beaten the original game, Ocerina of Time, this portion of the fight will be a cake walk. Zelda's main attack is an energy ball that she throws at you. This is your only chance to attack her. It is time to play tennis with Zelda. Slash the energy ball right back at her. If she hits it back repeat slashing the energy ball until it hits her.

Other attacks:

Dive bomb: I call this attack "dive bomb" mainly because she tries to fly straight through you.

Triforce: Now this isn't as bad as it sounds. You the ground under your feet will light up and you have only a few seconds of time to get away before being shocked.

Form Two: Beast Ganon

This is were the game takes a turn from Ocerina of Time in the Ganandorf battle.

Take out your bow and arrow. Ganon will run around the room and disapear. Ready your bow and look for a portal to open. Follow the portals until you find the different colored one. Ganon will charge out of the portal shoot the gem that is in his head. Run to the side of him and slash the giant hole in his stomach. This time he will appear from above. Once you see the shadow of him run out of the way. He will charge around the room and then start charging at you. Shoot the gem again and start to slash the hole again. He will start disappear right as you shoot at the gem. At this point turn into the wolf. For this portion of the fight you need nerves of steel. You gave to let Ganon to get right in front of you while he is charging. The grab icon will come on to the screen. Push A when you see it. Now move the joystick left and right quickly. Once he falls over turn into a human and slash the hole on his side. Repeat the wolf steps until he is finished.

Form three: Horse Back Battle

For me this was the hardest part of the fight. Zelda will be on the horse with you. She will be shooting light arrows at Ganandorf. You have to stay right with Ganandorf the whole time. If you don't he will send a team of ghost rides at you and they will knock you off your horse. After Zelda shoots him with the light arrow slash him. Repeat the steps until he falls off his horse.

Form Four: The Final Battle of Swords

In this fight you will be fighting sword against sword. Use the roll speacal attack to start the ability to slash him. The roll speacal attack will stun him for a few seconds while he is stunned slash him. Repeat this step until he falls on the ground for a second time. L-target him then use the finisher speacal attack. This will end the fight with Ganandorf.

Speacal not* In the second form "Beast Ganon" steps can be skipped depending on how you attack him. Using jump attacks will cause more damage and make him go into his harder attacks faster.
