Unlock Assignment Ada Mini-game:
Beat the game to unlock the mini game

Unlock Hunk in Mercenaries:
Get a 4 star rating on the Island Commando map of the game.

Unlock Ada Wong in Mercenaries:
Get a 4 star rating on the Pueblo map of the game.

Unlock Albert Wesker in Mercenaries:
Get a 4 star rating on the Waterworld map of the game.

Unlock Jack Krauser in Mercenaries:
Get a 4 star rating on the Castle map of the game.

Complete The Game On Normal Or Hard Mode.

Unlock Rocket Launcher and the Mitilda Handgun:
Clear the game on Normal and you get a chance to buy the Rocket Launcher and the Matilda. The Rocket Launcher is $1,000,000 and the Matilda (which fires 3 round bursts) is $70,000.

Unlock Hand Cannon Weapon:
On the Mercenaries mini-game get a five star ranking.

Unlock Professional Difficulty:
Successfully complete the main game once on Normal difficulty. In Professional difficulty everything is exactly the same except that the enemies are harder to kill.

Unlocking the Punisher Pistol:
Do the secret quest the man who sells you upgrades for weapons gives you. You have to search 2 areas of the game for the blue medallions and shoot ALL 15.

When ever you get the striker you can do this. So equip the striker and resume game, ready the weapon (just before the gun is straight) and hit the inventory button and equip any other gun( can't be a shotgun).this will make you move faster and shoot faster. If this doesn't work send me a message and I will get to you.

There are 4 secrete weapons to unlock in this game. The infinite rocket launcher is available once you beat the game. The same is with the matilda. It is a handgun with a 3- round rapid fire capability. If you beat assignment ada, you'll be offered the chicago typewriter. This is a machine that has infinite ammo and costs 1,000,000 pesetas. The handcannon is available if you get a 5* ranking on every level with every character the mercenaries mini-game. It will cost you a fortune to upgrade. But it's worth it. It will have infinite power and ammo.

to play as ahley with a weapon go to the level where you play as her and use a have all weapons cheat.And bingo she has a weapon.

Handgun-Default

Punisher-complete the blue medallion quest

Blactail-available from the merchant after getting into castle (i think)

Broken Butterfly- 1st castle merchant

Killer 7 - near the end of the game available from merchants on the island

NOTE:Killer 7 may be more powerful than Broken Butterfly at first but only has 3 more upgrades after that but the Broken Butterfly after all the firepower upgrades is a 50.0 which can take down a boss in 4 hits.

Handcannon-available after beatin the game

Matilda- after beating the game available at 1st merchant

Infinite rocket launcher- after beating game but cost 1,000,000 ptas

Chicago typwriter (infinite ammo) ( machine gun)-after beating assignment ada also 1,000,000 ptas

Sniper bolt action-1st merchant

Tmp- 1st merchant

Rapid fire sniper-1st castle merchant

Striker- merchant before salazar's fight

Riot gun-1st merchant in castle

The guns I recommend having are the: fully upgraded TMP in ammo and firepower,
Rapid fire sniper, striker, fully upgraded blacktail in firepower, and broken butterfly.
These are the guns I have and have gotten me through the game nearly 2 times
Also if you can afford it the chicago typewriter the reason I say this is because if you get the rocket launcher leon can also suffer if the enemis get too close.

Beat the game once and then start a new game.you need a red9 and you have to upgrade it to the max including the exclusive.then on the pueblo it will take 1-2 shots to kill them.this is excluding the chainsaw s.o.b.

I' ve done this before these are other scenes I have discovered but some I do not know the location.

1. If Ashley needs you to catch her while she jumps down a ladder or is climbing up one if you toggle the camera angle up her skirt she will call you a perve.

2. In the village cheif's house where you find the insignia key and the note on the bed walk out the door by the bed there will be a cutscene then walk back inside and ms. Wong will aid you in another cutscene once again starring the cheif.

3.At the lake monster place by the dock shoot the water with a shotgun you will hear a rumble keep doing this and there will be a cutscene. NOTE: Do NOT do this if you haven't saved you game in the house yet !!!

Here's something I thought would be a little fun to try out...

In Chapter 1-3, as you are heading off to fight Del Lago, head onto the dock where the boat is moored, but don't get onto the boat. Instead, get out any weapon and start shooting into the lake. After shooting enough times, Del Lago will emerge and devour Leon, along with half the dock.

If you knew that already, here's something I bet you didn't know. It's a glitch caused by triggering the same cut-scene. Fire into the lake, but don't do it from the dock. Shoot from further away. When Del Lago emerges to eat you, he will only eat the dock, as you are not standing on it. However, the game will count it as a death, and you will see the 'You Died' message, despite the fact that you can actually hear Leon getting up. Weird, eh?

When you get to the first village were you use the banoculars to look...take the left path and go inside the closest house...then get ready to shoot everyone in your way..try to stay alive..because there isnt alot of people you need 2 kill.once the first preview comes up when it looks like there are alot of villagers going 2 get you...there isnt just go outside but don't go into any more houses our this cheat wont work just kill untill there isnt anymore people left then you waont have to face off with the chain saw dude and like 20 other people trust me...u might save more amo and don't get discouraged if you die a few times trying to do this just try untill you succeed

Here's how you do something cool,
1.beat the game
2. Get 70,000pestas
3.buy red9
4.upgrade it to the max
Now, it holds 22 bullets, reloads faster,and, it can kill those s.o.b's with 1 bullet
(disreguard this if the chainsaw-happy bozo's around!)

Beat mercanaries mode with all 5 people and get a 5-star ranking on each level with each person.

Aim for the legs. If they are running, they will practiclly trip.

Matilda - Complete the game once.
Infinite Launcher - Complete the game once.
Chicago Typewriter (Tommy Gun) - Complete the bonus mini-game "Assignment Ada".
HandCannon - Get a 5 Star Rating on the "Mercenaries" Mini-game with every character on Every Stage.

Here are a list of treasures you can combine with each other to sell them for more than you could get for them individually:

Beerstein + Red Catseye + Green Catseye + Yellow Catseye = 20,000 pasentas.

Elegent Mask + Red Gem + Purple Gem + Green Gem = 30,000 pasentas (I think, not entirely sure about this one)

Butterfly Lamp + Red Eye + Green Eye + Blue Eye = 32,000 pasentas.

Crown + Crown Jewel + Royal Insignia = Salazar Family Crown = 48,000 pasentas.

Golden Lynx + Red Stone of Faith + Green Stone of Judgement + Blue Stone of treason = 40,000 pasentas.

Important notes:-

The Crown Jewel can only be obtained by killing Salazar's Assisstant in the sewers.

You can find two Butterfly Lamps and at least two of each colour eyes.

You can find two Elegant Masks (one in the Village and on in the Castle) but you can only find one of each gem.

These are all the treasures that combine, there are no others.

To unlock this powerful beast you need to earn five stars for all of the characters on all of the stages in The Mercenaries sub-game. Unlike the Infinite Launcher and Chicago Typewriter, this weapon needs upgrading to achieve it's full potential (99.0 Firepower and Infinite Ammo). Watch out, if you try and sell it to a merchant he won't offer you any cash for it!

To get the specialized gun you have to shoot ten blue medallions.

Don't listen to those people who say that it taes alot of damage to krauser if you knife his head youll be dead before you do that but on the part that he turns into a plaga or whatever shot his legs and knife his face clean off but other times use a shotgun or a bb also on the part where he is on the other side use the rifle to shot him then he will run towards you then blow his face off kay

Here are a list of the bosses and the quickest way you can beat them:-

Del Lago: No strategy other than the normal one.

El Gigante: Rocket Launcher.

Chief Bitores Mendez: Two or three Rocket Launcher blasts should do the trick, so unless you have an Infinite Launcher, you can only use one to speed things up.

Garrador (blind guy with metal claws): Hit him with a Rocket Launcher. Salazar's Assistant: Freeze him using the canisters and then use a Rocket Launcher.

El Gigantes: Trap one of them in the lava and use a Rocket Launcher on the other or (if you can) trap both of them in the lava.

Ramon Salazar: Shoot the big eye on the large head until his weak spot (which is actually Ramon Salazar's main body) opens up and use a Rocket Launcher.

IT: For the first part in the crate maze you cannot kill him. On the second part around the stone pillar use a Rocket Launcher and then shoot him with a Magnum a couple of times.

Jack Krauser: For the first part when he's chasing you around the ruins, use your knife and he'll escape each little fight quicker (he uses a Flash Grenade and disappears). For the second part when he transforms his arm, you can use a Rocket Launcher but it'll never be a one hit kill. Use your Magnum (Broken Butterfly or Killer7) on his legs and kinfe his upper body (which was previously protected by his arm) when he lowers his defences. Repeat.

Lord Osmund Saddler: Pack a Rocket Launcher and keep shooting the funny looking eyes on his knees. When the eye in his mouth becomes vulnerable, use the Rocket Launcher. Ada Wong will give you the Rocket Launcher (Special) right after this instead of you having to keep fighting him for a long period of time. When she does, use it on him and make sure you miss because otherwise you're dead.

You can get this cutscene when you are in the house with luis and gandos are breaking in - SPOILER BELOW -

Knife or shoot luis about 6 times and you will get a cutscene were luis says, "adios leon", and shoots him in the chest and kills him, he'll be breathing deep, be aware this obviously gets you a game over

Enter the room and after the salazaar tranformation cutscene move to the far right and shoot the arm coming out of the wall with the shotgun or tmp, then the arm will disappear for few seconds, this allows you to literally stand in one spot and attack salazaar at your own leisure.

at the first house in the beginning shoot all three birds to get money and a spinal

(This only works on cultist ganados) When you are in the castle and you are fighting the cultist ganados, if you stun and get close to them you can perform a suplex move instead of a kick

To tag a crow you have to have a fully upgraded mine launcher all the way to exclusive and when you see a crow or a bat launch a mine at it and it will blink on the animal and the animal might stumble while trying to fly

When you get400,000 pesas,buy the red 9,upgrade it to the max, and it's probrably the best handgun in the game!(this will only work when you have beaten the game,and you start the cleared spot on your memory card,and you're leon)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before fighting any troll buy a rocket launcher from the merchant and just shoot the troll once and he should die.

P.S if you rescued the wolf he will help you!

Aright, first you must beat the game at least once, then you must beat mercanaries 5 stars on every character.

(This may take some time). After that go pick a new game file and at the beginning there will be a merchant jacket.

Get the handcannon since it's 0 psetas.

If you have the money, upgrade everything includeing exclusive. Then you will have Infinite ammo on the Handcannon!

Well if you think that Saddler is really hard. Then you aren't thinking okay. Well all you have to do is when he transforms get out the mine thrower. Launch a mine at his body when it blows up he will fall. The run up to him and hit the action button and you will stab him in the eye. Do this about 2/3 time (easy), 5/6 (Normal). I don't know how many times on pro. Well when this is done just get the rocket that Ada will throw to you Shoot it at him while he is down then he will be dead. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It isn't the end. (Don't read on if you don't want it spoiled!!).

Ada will then throw you a key to a jet ski. Then she will jump into a chopper. At this point run and get the 100,000 that Saddler drops. Then run like hell to the elevator. Go down meet up with ashley. Run down the cave. Go down the ladder then catch Ashley. At this point run down to the Jet ski. Get on. Pushing up on the analogue stick will accelerate. And left and right on the analogue stick steers. Thats all I can tell you really. Then you will finish the game. You will get a connction with Hunnigan. And (THIS IS A MEGA SPOILER HERE!!!)
Ashley asks Leon out on a date. (Or the other way round)

Immediately run left, jump down, back yourself in the corner, and rack up craploads of ammo to fire or sell by shooting the neverending flow of spider lookin things. One shot kill with striker shotgun. Pick and choose once xl attache case is full.have fun.

You can obtain several weapons in this game for free. Here I will list the locations of these weapons:

Handgun - Automatically available from the start of the game.

Shotgun - Found in the house that triggers the villager attack cut-scene in the village in 1-1. It is in the upstairs bedroom, hoisted on the wall. However, on the Easy difficulty, it is automatically available from the start of the game, like the Handgun.

Punisher - Shoot 10 of the 15 Blue Medallions around the village and cemetery. The Merchant will give you this gun for free the next time you see him. If you shoot all 15 of the Blue Medallions, you'll also get a free Firepower upgrade for the gun.

Rocket Launcher - Found towards the end of 3-3, in the large room with the bridge crossing it. Cross the bridge, but instead of going through the door at the opposite end, turn left and head down the passageway in this direction. In the middle of this large room, there is a glass cabinet filled with ammo and, of course, a free Rocket Launcher. Beware, as there are Zealots lurking in this room.

Broken Butterfly - In 3-2, Leon will pass by a locked door with a high window that he mentions he may be able to get into with the help of another person. Backtrack to this area in 4-1 when Ashley has rejoined you. Leon will give her a boost up to the window, and she will climb into the room and unlock the door. Inside the chest in this room is a free Broken Butterfly, which is well worth getting considering how expensive this excellent gun is to purchase. There are also several other goodies in this room.

Rocket Launcher (Special) - Given to you by Ada in the final battle against Saddler, once you have damaged him enough. You can only use it against Saddler.

first thing you want to do is to shoot him in the head to where he bends down on his knees and you runn up and equipt your knie and slice him in the head a couple times and thats the easiest way to kill Krauser.

Resident Evil 4, like the other games in the series, features three different types of healing herb, which can be combined in numerous ways. However, due to the removal of the Poison status from the game, the Blue herb is replaced by the Yellow. The chart below lists all possible combinations and the effects of herbs when used:

Green - Restores a small amount of health
Green + Green - Restores a large amount of health
Green + Green + Green - Fully restores health
Red - Cannot be used alone
Yellow - Cannot be used alone
Green + Red - Fully restores health
Green + Yellow - Restores a small amount of health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health
Green + Green + Yellow - Restores a large amount of health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health
Green + Red + Yellow - Fully restores health and adds an extra 5 percent to total health

Note - You cannot combine more than three herbs together at any one time. It is impossible to combine three Green herbs and a Yellow, for example.

Note 2 - Yellow herbs are useless when you have completely maxed out your health bars. However, there are precisely enough in the game to max out both yours and Ashley's health bars by the end of the game.

Note 3 - White Chicken Eggs restore a small amount of health, Brown Chicken Eggs restore a large amount of health and Gold Chicken Eggs fully restore health. Also, First Aid Sprays fully restore health.

*These two treasures can only be obtained if you allow the Watch/Pendant to fall into the filthy well water in The Village area (Chapter 1-1 and 1-2). To avoid getting these two items, shoot the piece of wood that holds the well lid open, THEN shoot the item down from the rafters.

NOTE: The "Eye" gems are listed as "var." because there is not a fixed number available. Only Novistadors will drop these, except for the meganest in Chapter 4-1, which gives 4 Green, 3 Red and 1 Blue Eye, IF you blast it down.

If you gather ALL of these Treasures and don't get the dirty ones, their total value is 704,500PTAS.

If you take the boat over to the previous island (after you have killed the Del Lago), the previous island is the one you were on before fighting the Del Lago. Go there at the night time to find a cut-scene of the dogs approaching you and one having a parasite burst out of it's body. They are pretty easy to deal with, and there are only 3 of them.

Ok to kill salasar use a mine dart oon the monster then use a rocket on him and he's dead

Throughout the game of Resident evil 4 you will come across many different animals including hawks, chickens, snakes, fish, cows and many others, you may not know that they drop some great items. If you ever see a hawk shoot them for ammo, and money. If you come across a chicken they will drop eggs if you shoot them or just follow them around. If you find a snake stab/shoot it and it will drop an egg. And if you come across a fish in the water stab/shoot it and it will replenish health the large one will also sell for 2500 PTS and the small fish for 500 PTS but the fish also take up alot of inventory space. I do not think that cows drop anything. If I find more animal droppers I will post them here.

Do you have no money and want to get a broken butterfly? Well you don't need any money! Here's what you do. After you beat the part where you have to play as Ashley just keep on backtracking until you reach the area where you had to shoot the wine bottle. Look around for an opening in the wall. When you find it go through it and you should find yourself in a hallway. At the end there should be a door. *Keep in mind that there is another hallway in the area that isn't the right one so keep looking around for it* When you go through the door there'll be some insects in the room. After you kill the insects proceed to the next room. The door will have a lock on it so just slash it off. You should recognize the room. Anyway turn right and go through the door. Go around the corner and you should see a door and a window above it. Go toward the window and press "A" Ashley will climb on the other side and unlock the door. There will be a few chests. In the big one you'll find the butterfly. If you keep looking you'll find some treasure.

The second time you fight Krauser 85% of the time he will run up to you and try to slash you with his knife. Lucky for you, you also have a knife. Sometimes he'll dash from left to right at you. Just get your blade ready and slice his face when he's close enough. If you do it right you could defeat him without using a single bullet. But you mite have to use ammo on the robotic drones he sends at you near the end of the fight.

If you play as ada,you get the most suckest weapons ever.but if you improvise,you can either shoot someone in the knees or the face and they will flinch(do it with the punisher)and while they`re flinching,you can fan kick them to save some ammo.(NOTE:this only works best if you do it in ada`s mission,not the mercenaries thing)

Here aresome deaths MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SAVED BEOFRE EACH OF THERE CUTSCENES!!!
1:before the del lago(lake monster) fight stand at the docks and shoot the monster will show you what he thinks of you =D
2:it let is cut you with siccor tail or let it snap your neck when the cliffside battle commences let it kill you from under ground =D hope you had fun with these

When you fight the bugs for a few seconds after they turn invisible their 3 eyes glow so it would be better to shoot them then

First unlock mercenaries and assignment ada beat mercenaries and unlock the handcannon buy that and fully tune it up next unlock the chicago typewriter get enough money to buy it finally collect everything you can and buy the infinite launcher it would also help to have 2 of every granade and a health can

When you enter the room where you fight the two El Gigantes (EGs for short) and you use the lever trick(get one of the EGs on the platform in the center and pull the lever to make it fall in the lava.), kill the other EG then leave the room. If you go back into that room again the money for the EG that fell in the lava will be there just look around where it fell.

For those of you that don't know this,this is prety cool.Ok,when you start a new game,wait till you get to the village.Run into the house with fence around it if you want.Theres a tower on the other side of the village from where you entered.Go there,climb up the ladder and wait like 10 seconds.I don't know why they can't climb the ladder but instead they throw molotove cocktails at you through the window!

Handgun: always carry a handgun in case of any ammunition loss

RED9: powerful, but has slower reloading than the other pistols

Punisher: weak but you can blast a hole through two enemies with it, shoot ten blue medallions to get it for free off the merchant

Blacktail: a pretty good pistol which has the quickest aiming

Matilda: once you have this you can sell your TMP minigun as it shoots 9mm bullets with three rapid fire rounds, you must complete the game to unlock it and it's exclusive ability is to have 100 ammo

Somewhere in Chapter 4-2, you'll need to fight 2 Gigantes. If you still don't have a Handcannon or Chicago Typewriter, the easiest way to kill them without opening the floor is: take out a flash Gernade, throw it to them as they go out. Then get some distance and throw a hand gernade. Start shooting them with the Striker, when they get too close, go to the platform where the slide thing is and shoot the m until they get too close. The Gigante will try to knock you down, but quickly press A and you will slide. Keep shooting them until you get the parasite to comes out of one of their backs, get a magnum gun and shoot it until the Gigante gets up or the second one is too close. When that happens, go back to the slide machine and shoot until they try to shake you down. Do that repeadely until they both die. If you need to reload, do the same thing but when you slide, you reload instead of shooting. This takes patience and alot of bullets.

Ever wanted to be one of those guys who activates a bomb from a distance, by shooting off your gun, well now you can, in fact you could have done it a long time ago if you thought about it hard enough.

Its as simple as using a mine dart and any conventional bullet powered weapon. Simply aim to a target, fire, then quickly swap guns, aim and fire. Kablam! Not only are you dealing explosion damage, but you are also dealing damage from the weapon you fired. So it almost always causes the thing you are exploding to splatter all over the place. It is very satisfying. Though I wouldn't recommend it on the fast-walking ganados. They get too close and in professional mode it can almost ensure a painful death.

This isn't really a cheat it's a glitch. Ok get your infinte rocket lunacher out and slash a zombies face with you're knife so they stumble around then run up and kick that zombie your lunacher look normal still when you run up but when you kick the zombie the lunacher should impale leon if it doesn't work don't start yelling profanity at your tv because it didn't always work for me.IT OLNY WORKS SOMETIMES.

(you have to have a rifle either smi auto or normal it doesn't matter and the thing you use to zoom in)you know when you face the "big cheese" (not real name forgot his real name but Leon called him big cheese) after his "fake eye" falls out? pick it up then zoom in on the dude's face and you'll see that the "fake eye" is still there in his head. =) hope you had fun with this glitch

Ok, I'm tired of hearing people whine about how hard this game is, it is one of the easiest games ever made. You all whine about there not being any ammo so I'm here to help. First off, make sure you always have a handgun, ammo is best found for this, upgrade the handgun you have as much as possible. After you get to the first village spot don't go in any of the houses till after the bell rings and they all leave, then the house with the fence in the front has a shotgun up the stairs, grab it, but don't use it at all. In this next spot of the village there are blue medallions, make sure you get every single one of them in this area. When you get the merchant for the first time, sell the shotgun and all your shotgun ammo, upgrade your pistol as much as possible, don't buy any guns, stick with only your handgun, the next place is easy with it. The next time you get to the merchant he will have a punisher, don't buy it. In this next area are more blue medallions, after you get all of them in this are, run back to the merchant and get the free punisher, then sell it, the punisher is just an all over crappy weapon. Now, the Punisher should of sold for about 15,000, so buy a shotgun now and use the rest of your money to upgrade it's ammo. Now, you should be good for quite a while, but the first chance you get, sell your existing shotgun and buy the Riot Gun, it's the best shotgun to have, the striker is better, but the Riot Gun is so much cheaper to upgrade.
