how to get to the darkness temple

I know this is a dumb question but the thing says to go to meltokio and the elemental reserch lab is on an expidition? So plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok first head to the continent where the fooji mts. Are. Close to the tip of that continent the temple of darkrness should be there(on a mountain so use the rehards)It is a midnight blue building. Once inside a scene will happen, telling you that you need a blue candle, from there head to meltokio and enter the research lab.

Nope. The scene already happened inside the temple but the people at the elemental lab are still out on an expedition. What to do??
