Need help on event 51! I beat it with pikachu but now I need to do same..

Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee

Need help on event 51! I beat it with pikachu but now I need to do same with bowser! As soon as I start I fall in the hole because giga bowser takes up half the stage and attacks while the other two just hold me still and deal damage, I'm a very good player though, need help!

If you already beat it with Pikachu, don't bother doing it again with someone else...
Otherwise, this is what I usually tell people...

Event Match #51: The Showdown
Character: Whoever you want
Opponents: Ganondorf, Mewtwo & Giga Bowser
Arena: Final Destination
Lives: 3 each

Some tactics...
- Try using Jigglypuff! Why you ask? Because by using her Down+B move, you can KO Giga Bowser at a low percentage if he's near an edge.
- The idea behind Jigglypuff's Rest move is that when you're above an enemy and you use Down+B, if you're directly aligned with that enemy below you, it'll hurt them significantly.
- I've also done this Event with Yoshi - jumping above everyone and getting some height keeps you out of danger for a little while.
- Then use his butt stomp (Down+B) to inflict some damage on hopefully more than one character.
- REPEAT!
- Get rid of Giga first - he's the biggest and the biggest pain!
- You can deal with the other two once Bowser's history.
- Using Items before your opponents is also key!

Nevermind I beat it with bowser with 300% damage I got lucky if I waited one more second I would have lost
