Question for Super Smash Bros. Melee
I really need some help with Event 51 (The Showdown) I have tried the jigglypuff method and all the other metheds of beatin it but I can't seem to beat them, can anyone of you tell me another methed of beatin this Event, Mario is my favorite character so is there any way of beatin it with him.
P.S. Who thinks Daisy is a complete and total HOTTIE and very SEXY

I beat that match a few times.
Mario:1
Mario, I'd recommend jumping around and using your cape alot.

Link, should stay as far away from them as possible,(no duh) and use alot of projectile weapons, as well as as many items as possible and if they get too close use Up-B.
Fox:1
Fox, as always, stay out of harms way, and use the Blaster as an offensive use while far away, the Reflector Shield for defense against any projectile, and the Fox Illusion to evade if they get too close,(all you gotta do is rip through them)
Falco:1
Same basic strategy as Fox, just not as much Blaster, instead jump in the middle of them and use your Meteor Smash (if you don't know which one that is, that's down-A, while in the air, but I'm sure you knew that already.), just don't use that all the time, and if you want to get out quickly, same as Fox.
Jigglypuff:1
You already know.
If that doesn't help any, I don't know what to tell you.
P.S. Not a Daisy fan, but she is a stronger character than Peach, which makes her better.

Sorry man, I've told you everything I know - if what I said didn't work, you'll have to find your own way of doing it! This is the last Event Match, so it's supposed to be hard - keep practicing and fighting, eventually you'll get it!
P.S. Daisy? Meh, you wanna know a Nintendo character who's hot, check out Zero Suit Samus!

You can beat any event with any character. Its just thats it easier to beat some with certain characters. If you're good, you can beat Event 51 with everyone. My worthless opinion would be to use Ganandorf because of his Strength which causes him to be hit a lesser distance than your average ssbm character. I don't like being cheap and using Jigglypuff to Down B Giga. I use skill to win.

Try using fox & use fire fox attack (up and B). While he's charging move the control stick toward bowser. Eventually you'll knock him off the map three times. Afterwards, just fight mewtwo and Gannondorf and then you should be done.
P.S. This can be done in 1-5 tries. Good Luck
