There are 290 Trophies; if you get them all - a Special Message (view them at Main Menu, Data, Special) will appear that says, "You have all the trophies!!"

I can't remember where it was now but a cheat site (might have been this one) said that if you get an action replay then you can get something like 292 or 293 trophies and I aint allowed an action replay so I can't do that

290 from gameplay.2 secret you can get via nintendo event/AR debug menu and click samus_unmasked_trophy_get,or mario_&_yoshi_trophy _get

There are 292 in my game. 293 in the Japanese version. You get a special message saying "You have all the trophies!!!" in the Special Data menu.

They're 3 jap only trophies you can get through super smash:
1. Samus Unmasked
2. Mario and Yoshi(mario is on top of yoshi riding w/ a gold cape
3. Some Green looking devil one(wasn't released in US because it was related to the devil so people might be "offended")
And that makes it 292 or 293, don't remember
